For those of you who haven't heard, the president of the United States, in effort to stab one final dagger into the heart of his dieing country before he steps down from office, has just enacted and seen passed a seven hundred billion dollar bail-out plan.

This plan is going to require the American citizens, who've suffered at the hands of an ever-worsening economy for the past 7 years, to hand over a good bit of money that most of them simply can't spare. This money will be used to create economic peace at the highest levels of the economy (investment bankers and other multi-millionares are the only ones who stand to see a positive change from this bill).

The change to the highest levels of the economy will seep down to upper-middle class, but only in the form of unbinding bank equity. This means that banks will have more money to lend out, allowing us poor citizens to risk our necks by taking said loans and attempting to start businesses. Businesses that no one can afford to do business with because of the economy and everyone having their own ammounts of personal or business debt.
During the past 3 years, 45% of all homes purchase have either been foreclosed on once already, or are going into foreclosure. Why? Because the banks already have too much money and are too lax on lending it in these rough economic times.

When no one has money but the banks, only one of two things can happen: Either the people loose or the banks do. I'm betting everything that the passing of this bill ends in anarachy, suffering, and much needless hatred.

Originally the government officials below President Bush refused to sign this bill. Then, less than 48 hours later, it was signed with no questions asked and Bush "swiftly signed". In actuallity, Bush probably signed that thing before it had the chance to touch his desk.

He organized this bail-out so that the American people would be at fault for their economic state instead of Bush. The number of seven hundred billion is no random number. It's the cost of the war Bush forced us into with Iraq - who might I remind everyone had absolutely nothing to do with the events of 9/11. This war has cost us an average of one hundred billion a year for the past seven years - you do the math... The economy suffered as a result, but the only people who suffered enough to convince the government to do anything about it was multi-millionares, such as President Bush. When their wallets started getting pinched, they began to cry over having to sell their private Leer jet in order to keep their 7 mansions - all the while down here below the proverty line there are families of 4 dieing of starvation because there are no jobs anywhere (all businesses have been in a hiring freeze for nearly 3 years, and most businesses have even downsized their payroll by firing employees as carelessly as one might throw away a broken coffee pot).

I have no doubt that those who approved this bill did so either to fatten their wallet, or because they were under rather severe threat from those that supported it. When this bill was denied, it should have been shredded right then and there, but unfortunately for us, the US Government has never been one to play by it's own rules.
